Alice Eaves Scenic Reserve
A small kauri remnant with a well graded loop track, just off the highway.
A pocket of old kauri and nīkau north of Orewa, with boot cleaning stations at both ends of the loop. Short enough to do on the way past, and shaded the whole way round. Use the brushes properly. This is a remnant, and dieback is the reason the track is fenced and formed the way it is.
