Cornwall Park
A working farm in the middle of the city. Lambs and calves in early Spring, and the BBQs are free if you can get one.

People come here to talk to the cows. In early Spring the lambs and calves are plentiful and the daffodils come out at the same time. The BBQs are free but you can't book one, so get there early on a fine Saturday. The paths along Twin Oak Drive turn narrow and muddy, worth knowing with a pram. No playground, though. That's over the fence in One Tree Hill Domain.
What to expect
This tranquil, grassy park with a cafe & creamery is popular with runners, bikers & picnickers.
