Gittos Domain
Sixteen hectares dropping down to the Whau, with a playground at the top and a boat ramp at the bottom.
Most people know the playground end and never walk the rest of it. Below the flat the land falls away into bush and mangrove down to the Whau River, where there is a boat ramp and not much else. Toilets and a drinking fountain by the playground. Dogs are prohibited across the whole domain, which catches people out.
