Harbourview-Orangihina Park
A big, wild coastal park of grass and saltmarsh, with skylarks overhead and the city skyline across the water.
Vast and deliberately unmanicured, with gravel paths through open grass and saltmarsh on the harbour edge. There's room for everyone, which makes it one of the easier places to walk a dog that needs distance from other dogs. Skylarks in spring, and the city skyline in view the whole way.
