Kaipātiki Reserve
A big bush reserve with a creek, kauri overhead and tracks running through to the next valley.
Tracks follow the Kaipātiki Creek and link through to Eskdale and Birkdale, so you can make the walk as long as you feel like. Mature kauri throughout, which means closures shift about. Check before you go and use the boot brush stations on the way in. Quiet, green, and far bigger than it looks from the road.
