Kauri Point Beach
A secluded little dog beach at the bottom of a bush walk. Fine for dogs, not for you.
A small hidden beach reached through bush below Chatswood, popular with dog owners precisely because hardly anyone else bothers. The water isn't pleasant for human swimming, though the dogs are unbothered, and the walk down through the trees is lovely. Parking is the catch. A handful of spaces at the end of a steep street, and that's it.
