Killarney Park
Lakeside lawns on Pupuke with a playground, deep shade and a great many opinionated ducks.
A shaded park on the shore of Lake Pupuke, a drowned volcanic crater, with a playground, a boat ramp and a flat path along the water. The ducks are many, confident and entirely unafraid of a picnic. The shade is good, which makes it one of the more comfortable spots on a hot afternoon.
