Mairangi Bay Beach
A compact sheltered bay with a grassy reserve, a surf club on the sand and cafes across the road.
Facing east and tucked in, with a park behind the beach and the coastal walkway heading off both ways. It's small enough to keep track of everyone, and the walk north or south turns a swim into a proper outing. Lifeguards patrol in season. The cafes across the road do the rest.
