Myers Park
A green gully falling from K Road down to the city, with a playground and a kindergarten right in the middle of it.
Locals all say the same thing about this one. Lovely by day, not so much after dark, and that's been the verdict for years. The kindergarten and playground sit right in the middle so there are usually people about, and the gully shape gives it a worse name than it really deserves. Come in from Queen Street if steps are a problem, because the K Road end is all stairs. A marble Moses watches the whole thing.
What to expect
Compact green space in the city centre featuring a colourful, modern playground & public artworks.
