Onehunga Bay Reserve
A saltwater lagoon and a big playground, with a footbridge over the motorway to the foreshore beaches.
Reclaimed foreshore on the Manukau. The lagoon is the draw for younger kids, and the Taumanu Reserve beaches are just over the bridge if you want actual sand. Flat and sealed throughout. You can hear the motorway the whole time, which is the trade for how much else is packed in here.
