Behind the predator fence at the tip of Whangaparāoa, with farmland, regenerating bush and birds that have largely gone elsewhere. Sheep and cattle graze right beside the tracks. All the beaches are swimmable. Te Hāruhi Bay is the main one, with three toilet blocks, two cold showers and four free electric BBQs, plus two more at Ōkoromai Bay. The park was given back the name Te Hāruhi in 2026.
