Takutai Square
A pocket of lawn among the Britomart brick, with an ice rink in winter.
A small square of hard and soft surfaces surrounded by restored warehouses. It's used for markets, screenings, free comedy and lunch in the sun. Not somewhere to spend a whole day, but it's the best patch of grass in the middle of the city and you're surrounded by places to eat.
