Titirangi Beach Reserve
A small shell beach under the bush, swimmable for a couple of hours either side of high tide.

A pocket of shell sand at the bottom of the Titirangi hill, framed by pōhutukawa. Time it with the tide or you'll arrive at mudflat. Quiet, shaded and very local, with a steep walk back up to the car.
