Tui Glen Reserve
One of the west's best playgrounds: flying foxes, real tree shade, and toilets that are actually looked after.
A riverside reserve on the Opanuku Stream with slides, flying foxes and plenty of climbing. The tree cover is what sets it apart, giving real shade over the play area rather than a token sail. The toilets have a good reputation locally, which is rarer than it should be. The Twin Streams path runs through if you want to keep going.
