Victoria Park

The flattest big park in the city, with a skate bowl, a fenced playground and the old brick chimney over the lot.

Properly flat. That's rarer in Auckland than it sounds, and the reason buggies and scooters end up here. Sports teams have the fields most evenings and weekends. There's a fenced playground, a skate bowl and the brick chimney of the old rubbish destructor still standing at one end. The bridge over the motorway from St Marys Bay lands you here, which makes a good loop.
